Worst strings...

As for acoustic strings, I absolutely hate all strings on my Taylor 710BCE (Brazilian Rosewood) until they've dulled down a bit and I'm just hearing the guitar. All the overtones from fresh strings distract from the bell-like, sweet tone that is this guitar. It's the only guitar that does this to me.

Could decent flat-wounds be worth exploring?

Right or wrong, I'm definitely going to head that way.

The worst strings? I mean, the ULTIMATE worst of all worst strings on the market?

The one, the only, the original, Fender 150R nickel 10-46 strings. You can actually watch them corrode right in front of your eyes!!! :p :rolleyes:
