Good Lord that is a beautiful instrument!!10 string, E9, Yeah Man, I just had Don Blood make the Custom Armrest and it is one nice ride!
Great, in C6 I had a blast learning the Soldier On” solo by Richard Harley and you CAN find it ( in C 6) on lap steel and that’s all about being in the right hands. You should put the benders back on your Peters. Best thing ever, a Bigsby basically with the sweet sustain!Good Lord that is a beautiful instrument!!
I want to learn C6, but I'm in open D now because it's one step down from E and I'm kind of rock oriented. It's overwhelming which tuning to use at this point for me. I haven't played a guitar in two weeks...I just love sitting on my ass and playing slide. I've been lurking over @ Steel Guitar forum for awhile, I need to register and join. Just like here TONS of info and nice people.
Is that a 5237 on the left? I love the green. Filter’Tron pickups and no infernal bigsby- if I see it on sale at GC or MF again it’s going to be hard to resist.Been playing these two a lot over the last few days. Only taking a break to let my elbows and wrist recover a bit.
I use to live there. Where are you staying? Is Wild Wings still there? Enjoy your stay! Not a guitar in sight as I’m vacationing in Hilton Head this week and didn’t bring one. A break is sometimes good(I think…)? Do I miss bending the strangs tho? Yep. The view helps tho…..
