Interesting looking axes but both have serious binding rot. The first one is already to $400. Yesterday it was $1. That would have been a go 🙂

Hopefully the eventual buyers restore them.

Is that a reputable auction site? I've never heard of it. I like the tenor New Yorker.

It showed up on my Instagram. Never heard of them either. I got the impression that they also liquidate whole households when somebody passes away. Unlikely that scammers would go through that much trouble .

I don't think I've ever seen a tenor New Yorker before. I like the headstock proportions. I had a '57 ish New Yorker (the weird batch with the adjustable truss rod). I'm guessing from the lightning bolt on the headstock that this is a '54/5. There is no pickguard because it's strung for a lefty. The white buttons on the tuners are beginning to degrade but can be replaced.
