Topic Preview - Can We Have That Back?

Does anybody else remember how this forum used to have a feature where when you hovered over the topic, it would display a preview of the opening post. I've never seen it anywhere else, and always thought that it was a very nice feature.

I've seen it on other forums. Its available here as well but for some reason I can't seem to enable it while others can. Don't know how come.

Works for me using Mac with Safari or Firefox. iPhone opens topic (hover is not functional on iPhone) Maybe its a browser security setting?

Might be a preference setting in your operating system(mouse?) or browser?

Interesting. Okay, I guess it's on my end. I'll have to poke around and see what I can find. In the meantime, if anybody actually knows what's disabling it, feel free to post it. I'm using Chrome.

Works for me on Mac with Chrome v. 94.0, if that helps narrow it down.

I have Firefox; it works for me.

For me, it just says "Go to first unread message".
I can usually figure out what the topic is from the title, not always.

It use to work for me until I got locked out,and that was with an ancient browser!

Thankfully the tablet is still working.
