Taking my G2622T on a plane in July...

Hi All,

I will be flying with my streamliner g2622t and was wondering if any of you have had any experiences with cases... I have travelled with an electromatic jr in a standard gretsch case and had no trouble brining it on the plane. However, the typycal gretsch Streamliner cases a re about 5 inches longer. Anyone have experience with the TSA-approved SKB or Gator cases? Or any other alternative cases that can withstand potentially being placed with baggage?

I've never flown with a guitar in the hold. Have you seen how baggage is handled? TSA cases protect the TSA, not guitars. Buy a seat in the front of the jet and demand to bring it aboard with you.
