Yes please!!!

And summer pasta a la egg noodle linguine is the best around our house, often with too much garlic, fresh veggies, a dollop of quality basil pesto & lemon zest, served with grated parmigiano reggiano.

Speaking of which, on Monday my wife and I enjoyed a 30min walk home (three bus stops' away) after a huge meal to avoid the very topic of the thread, and passed by this very place.

The funny thing is that "comma" spelled 코마/koma is an understood grammatical concept in Korean, and as it easily rolls off the tongue like the very similar-sounding word 고마/goma "shorty, little dude, young kid etc.", you'll find this sort of thing featured here and there for no reason.

I reckon the downtime between "dosages" would explain it all ;)

A tummy over filled but so worth it. Time to pass out!
Hey B,

You-Tube, ''Cooking with the Blues''

Make Jack Chaplin's Sicilian Pasta.

Slight variation...use boiling water not pasta water, and fully cook the pasta, drain and rinse.

I find following his recipe to the letter, with the partially cooked pasta, not rinsed, and using the pasta water to thin the sauce, makes the sauce too starchy...calories you don't need!

Too bad jack has passed away...complications from a multiple by-pass.

His recipes are great, easy, and super quick!

Best,

BIB.

In my house the drug of choice for pasta OD is baked ziti. When anybody has a rough day, that's the go-to.

I cannot get anybody in my house onboard with sausage and peppers. It might be one of the best foods of all time and nobody likes it. It's perplexing.
Last night I made Chicken Scarpariello - braised chicken with Italian sausage and peppers. Even better than sausage and peppers!

I will. That looks tasty. But I should know better than to be looking at food related content this early in the day. Now I'm starving.

Daddy Jack was amazing!!

Easy Recipes, quick, and quantities to suite your personal taste.

He could do a lot with an onion.

Best,

BIB.

I’m in Philly, that’s our thing! Sausage and pepper sandwiches are awesome, I made them two nights in a row this week

The water the pasta is boiled in is never used for anything! I dump it right away!

The absolute best lasagna I've ever had was at a restaurant in London England. Beat the places I'd been to in Rome. Go figure.

I'm a one plate eater. I don't eat because I enjoy eating, I eat to survive.

The worst Italian food I’ve ever had was in Venice. And had to deal with severs trying to swindle my wife and I multiple time. Obviously it’s a tourist trap but we really did make an effort to seek out good food. Unsuccessfully. But man, what an unbelievable city. Those were definitely some of the best few days I’ve ever spent traveling. But the food and service situation was not impressive.
