This is a decent solutuion for guitars where the high e-string is falling off the board. I hope it don`t rattle and loses sustain, though.

I just installed this on my PRS Starla. It is a really nice upgrade over the standard TOM. Zinc bridge with brass saddles.
The thing to note here - the string radius changes as the spacing is changed.

Please elaborate on this. If you widen or narrow the spacing of saddles to help line up the stings over the pole pieces the radius of the bridge will change? Does it get flatter or rounder or does it depend on which direction you move them?

Thanks!

Assuming the saddles do not change height as the are adjusted, I would expect the radius to flatten as you move the saddles apart.

This bridge adjust string spacing if you need it to.

IMO.. this is a crime against gretsch guitars :) Why in the blue heavens would this giant mass of dissimilar zinc pot metal and brass be put on an expensive Gretsch guitar?
when it could have a well machined bridge w tight tolerance made from solid billet alum or steel w solid bell brass saddles placed on this instrument w skilled luthier cut and dressed saddle n nut slots.
This video causes me to shudder. :) :)

I understand now why because the fretboard curves in different directions so when you move it laterally it still doesn't move up and down with the board.

Just a quick update on this bridge…
I got rid of it because the saddle profile allowed the low E string to come off the saddle groove while playing. I tried reversing the bridge and the same happened to the high E string. Worked fine until doing palm muting and slightly heavy handed picking.
May work just fine for light-handed pickers, but probably not so much for finger pickers.
