Some Fonky grillcloth tests... A, B and D are already put and stretched out on baffles, C is just presented here :

Still A for me! The other two just don’t look right to my eye. I do like the idea of all three of the others b, c, and d but in this little cab they just clash. I would suggest keeping all there for future small amp builds with one of your small chassis.
Option A for me, but I sorta like the triangles as well.
NOW THAT I might like... since it's an OAHU
Last time I was in Hawaii I bought a few tie-dye batik sarongs with the intention of using them as grillcloth on an OAHU build. Thin rayon (and cheap) they stretch tight and are acoustically transparent. Available everywhere for around $10, and in a number of different Pacific island prints.

I'm liking the island idea! I'm more inclined to a sandy tone with colorful water and hula girls, we can dream.

My Daughter went to Hawaï some years ago and she brought me a killer Hawaïan shirt she bought there :
At the end of March and the start of April, there will be here the Foire Internationale de Lyon - the largest in France, already existing since the Roman Era, when the city of Lyon was La Capitale des Gaules, under the name Lugdunum - while Paris was hardly a peasant village

It's a huge event, in 150 000m2 succession of halls (oh OK - in USA, that's about the size of a normal supermaket, right ?) :
I'm sure that in the numerous booths from nearly all of the countries of the world - including USA / Hawaï - I will be able to find some other grillcloth ideas !
