I was in the grocery store and heard “Follow You Down” by the Gin Blossoms playing, however I thought it was Toad the Wet Sprocket. I thought it might be a good song for our band. When I got home I got distracted in both the Toad the Wet Sprocket and Gin Blossoms catalogues. I have learned at least 6 songs. And I still won’t bet my guitars on which band performs which song.
At first, his rendition of 'Empty' sounds like a suicide note set to music. Sounds better with some context. I heard it as the ending soundtrack for a movie about Mary Surrat, the lone female conspirator in the Lincoln assassination.
Anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Lemmy Rickenbacker bass, coming from a seller in Germany. Been waiting a while, seller is a working musician, I'm working around his schedule to get the guitar to Canada. Rickenbacker only made 60 of these.
