Over the years, I've seen a lot of Dano Longhorns with one or both of the horns broken off. The construction is typically Dano---2X4 frame with Masonite front and back, Formica finish on the face, and a Naugahyde surround. Danos in general are some of the best bang for the buck guitars on the market.
