If it was up to me, the Barrel Burst 12-string would definitely be in the final batch. When I was at GC deciding on a semihollow, the sales guy had to find one in the back room, so I pulled a G5422TG 12 Barrel Burst off the wall just for kicks and was very pleasantly surprised by the sound. My granddaughter was with me (plays trumpet in the school band), and she went, "Oooo, I like that," referring to the look and the sound.

I would also hold onto the G5410T Tri-Five, in part due to the look, but also because of the Hilotron pickups, but then, you've already made that call.

The final one, for me, would be the G5628 - Dark Cherry Metallic, but then, again, I'm sure you've already made that decision, too.

I have a heavily modified Rat Rod in Matte Vintage White (with Fralin Hum-Cancelling Dog Ear P90s)...

but I'm STILL GASsin' for the Matte Black Rat Rod and the Tri-Five in Ocean Turquoise.

Try as I might, rational reasoning and justification usually end up on the losing side of my internal debates when it comes to my guitar purchasing decisions. 🤓

GET RID:
of the G5410 Rat Rod, since you already have the other one.
of the Bono Red, for nothing else other than that garish vertical ELECTROMATIC logo.
of the walnut stain 12 string. Walnut is stupid.

Keep:
I can't believe I'm saying this, but keep the G5410 Tri-Five.
the other ones.

It’s leaning very much that way.

The Bono RED is on the gear card interest free. I could sit on it for 5 months and it wouldn’t make a bit of difference.

The 12 strings I gotst to deal with in the next few days, so that’s the real tough choice.

Wouldn’t mind having the matte black 5410 rat rod, but you can’t have them all and I need to get these off the CC.

"Don’t get too excited, cuz all but one of these are in the crib on the GC $22 dollar 45 day try out plan. Sooooo at least three of those are going back. Could be more or even less going back."

.......and GC will clean them up a bit and market them as "new" guitars that some poor guy will buy thinking he/she is the original owner.

That's why I order all my guitars from Sweetwater.

Oh it’s so much worse than that. Did you read the initial post? In the case of these gold hardware equipped Gretsch guitars, they are classified as new, but are ruined hanging on the wall and never left the store. Not to mention the literally knew, from the warehouse, never opened box, direct from the factory, that had gold hardware damage.
Also, I’m not aware GC even cleans them up a bit.
Good news about the ones that spend some time in my collection. They all get polishing, string oiling, many times fretboard conditioning and go back better than they came in.

Oh and in 2020 I returned a Tide Pool Fender Stratocaster to Sweetwater. Pretty sure they re-sold that guitar I had in the house for three weeks as new.

Such a killer floor. Based on visuals the Tri Five gets it done for me. It’s just both classy and cool.

Depending on the budget, I’m thinking about picking up that same Tri Five or a 6118 this year. I’m just waiting to see if Gretsch reveals any new color options at NAMM in April.
