I can't wait to get cataract surgery. If I want to read anything I have to take my glasses off, and hold the print 2" before my face. People are starting to point fingers.

Well, since the thread has been unexpectedly rekindled…. A health update: 2 1/2 years cancer free! Feeling better than i had for years while my body was fighting the cancer. Didnt even realise how tired i was till i recovered from the surgery and found a new lease of life!

Best wishes! I hope everything is alright now and you feel better after the surgery. I also had surgery during the pandemic and was afraid to make it because of the virus. I had problems with my nose for the whole of my life. It was making it hard to breathe for the whole of my life, and it would be bad if I got COVID. It is why I found https://es.drbustillo.com/procedimientos-cosmeticos/rinoplastia and immediately went to a consultation to attend the surgery. I am very happy that it is a past problem and I can breathe freely now.

Best wishes on a full and speedy recovery! Well, just noticed how old it was, 2 years is considered a “speedy recovery” for sure….

You, Sherry and your boys are in our prayers, keep the faith, keeping after it is the right choice.

My Father survived it, he had surgery 23 years ago, and was reluctant due to all the "doom and gloom consultants" out there, and today he is still going.

He obviously made the right choice, and you are making a wise choice too.

Having cataract surgery was one of the best decisions I made. My wife and kids were tired of finding reading glasses all over, sitting on them, and never having them when I needed them. Post surgery, I had one eye at 20/20 and the other slightly near-sited (-.25). I was amazed from having prescription ash trays in both eyes before surgery (-11), and (-13), and getting the corrections.

I hope everything went well for you, and the doctors cared for you and your health. Of course, I have never experienced such difficulties, and the most difficult surgery was rhinoplasty. Because of this, I lost a lot of blood and almost died. But as it turned out, the plastic surgeon just did the whole surgery wrong, I was thinking of suing him, but then I thought it wasn't worth wasting time on it. After all, now I can play my guitar on stage with my band with a beautiful nose and body. Music seems the only thing that has always made me happy and supported me in this life.
