I think We have a scammer in our midst!?!

Some one sent me a private msg telling me a friend was selling a guitar and sent his private email.

So I email the guy…. Sends what looks like guitar center pics, took the first offer I sent and wont stop asking for my address.

Am I being paranoid?

Maybe. Share the info with the moderators and have them check it out. Unless you solicited the offer in a post, I'd be leery. @thunder58 @Synchro

Because of the sensitive nature of this, I’m going to lock the thread, but if anyone is having these sorts of experiences, please PM myself and Thunder 58.

We don’t get involved in transactions, but if we see that someone is obviously a spam source, or has joined only to solicit sales, we can cut them adrift.
