It’s that time again!
Just saying!
The sponge is not dripping wet of course, I wrong it out fairly well, so that when you touch it it feels cool and damp but Rub your fo gets together once or twice and they are dry.
For the bigger more expensive instrument it also gets a sound hole humidifier. I have found tue sponge give a day or two boost and then a couple weeks with the sound hole and she’s stays right where she needs to. I do the same with an old Vega Bowl back mando I am case a guy made for me. Yes I should have done so myself. But it just doesn’t seal well. I took a chance. Over paid a little for what I got but it gets the job done better than an I’ll fitting gig bag made for a larger bowl back instrument.

I forgot about that thread! Saw 25 % on my hygrometer this morning and figured hey might as well post about it! Hahahhaha
