Guitars at the Smithsonian (pictures!)

I was at the African American History museum yesterday, and got to see --
Chuck Berry's Maybellene:


As well as Leadbelly's guitar (maybe this is the one Kurt Cobain passes the hat for, at unplugged?)


And, one of Jimi's Marshalls, which he appears to have stuck a headstock through:


As well as quite a few others, but I thought these were particularly exciting.

i dunno, the fact that they attached an 87lb peavey t-20 to A WALL is pretty exciting…
