Indeed. I'd be very hard pressed to choose between them...Redheads are great. Both guitars and women.
Yes, it's amazing how much an extra 1/16" in width can add to the comfort and playability of a guitar, especially acoustics and Gretsches. My Gent also has the slightly wider fingerboard and I've noticed a marked accessibility and facility in left hand fingering when working out Chet style arrangements...I agree. Post 2012, it is a Reimagined eries callEd the Standard series now. I love mine. The 1 3/4” nut with the Modified Low Oval neck carve and Ebony fingerboard is wonderful to play.
Thank you ever so much for posting these pictures of the Andy Summers model Tele. This is a true thing of beauty!MS,

Just imagine if the two mated!...and since we're showing off - here's a favorite pic of my Gent in a similar pose to Baba's...

and yes, I'm playing it again this afternoon. Working on Dorian mode concepts...
Hmmm, I wonder what I'd get if I crossed my Gent with a banjo? Perhaps the big music production scene they cut from Deliverance?Country Club + Falcon appointments = “The Country Falcon” .![]()
All Gretsch Hell would break loose. And we would probably get rich selling the progeny...Just imagine if the two mated!
LOVE that B16!First band practice of 2023.
