Fretless Gretch Bass?

Gretsch basses

Not much discussed here but they seem to have made all kinds over time. I've seen pictured of the TK 300, Committee and gorgeous White Falcon. And then there are more recent/current/vintage ones that look like Gretsches. Like these: Then I came across this acoustic/electric fretless bass...

Ages ago I played a couple singer-songerwriter gigs with someone who had one of these. That was probably 1993, and he said he'd had it for a couple years. I don't remember much about it except that he used a keyboard amp rather than a "bass" amp, it did the job, and had no problems problems in low-volume coffeeshop types of settings. Same player also had an Ashbory, which were the rage at the time.
