Are all (vintage) space-control bridges the same?

Are the bridges the same for a hollow-body as they might be for a Jet?
Different wooden base but same metal top?
Different base and top?

Exactly the same... probably not. I know the earliest examples from the '58ish timeframe have the dome-style caps on the posts. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the Brooklyn factory used some different wood for the base at some point (based on availability).

So, ignoring the base, I'm aware of two main types of S/C bridge, the "vintage" one:

...and the "modern" one:

Mod.jpg

...which has cyllinders on each end vs. the domes on the vintage one.

Are there different types of *domed* S/C bridges, or was the distinction above what you were referring to in your post?
