Major selling point was the detachable cables, even better 3 are included!
interesting, the reviews aren't that great...guess I go for a wired setup but look to invest in a couple of high quality cables to connect the headphones to the amp, and always have a spare, lol
My current ones are Sennheiser, and I must say they have lasted at least 5 years, maybe 7! And all my fixes have been the connecting cable, but this time the problem is in the headphone cable, as in I can jiggle it and it works. So I'm definitely sold on Sennheiser.
But, what I am looking at...
Hello everyone!
Turns out this place is where I come for some rock (pun intended) solid advice. =)
I have kids, so only get to play at nights, and through headphones (though I get the odd Saturday morning where I get to amaze myself at how loud by little Blackstar amp is, lol ).
My current set...
The Transcribe software is $US39, but there is a free app called Transpose. I just added it to my browser and tried a few videos, it seems to work really well. Can't wait to plugin the guitar and try it properly.

Seems I stumbled across what might be the answer. I know that most AC DC is standard tuning, there is the odd song which is Eb tuning, and there is even a capo used for "A long way to the top" to match the bagpipes, lol.
But, what Justin from "justin guitar" says is that it is most likely a...

I just don't know enough about the tech side, I just want to jam along with something, lol
Hey folks,
I'm playing along to a lot of youtube videos, but I cannot seem to get in tune.
Great example is AC DC, Highway to Hell, my guitar just doesn't sound right.
I have heard there is post-processing which can alter a song. Is it something like that or is my tuner out of whack?
I find it...
lol! This is my second run at playing guitar, I once could only afford cheap knock-offs and always wanted a whammy bar to well, whammy. Of course it killed any semblance of tuning immediately. So when I got back into guitars (20 years later) and could afford something semi-decent I went for a...
Many thanks everyone for all the help! I only get a couple of plays each week, and had one tonight. Even the simple tuning up made a huge difference! I always have the tuner connected and I think this is the first time that my open chords were reading "in tune", I really enjoyed playing tonight...
Hello everyone,
I do own a Gretsch (based on Malcolm Young using one) but struggled with the joining up question about the finish on a 6120, lol...google said orange?
But anyway, the reason I came here was a bit of advice. I have a Gretsch, I know it is is a cheap model, but I'm happy it is a...
