Hey Troy , good to hear from you . I purchased a , The Loar , mandolin . Much easier learning the cord formations than I thought . Bought myself a cord chart and lots of surfing of you tube . Freddfingers was also very instrumental with me and my decision on the purchase .Might want to reach out to him too , great guy . Theres also some on-line courses you could check into but I prefer the teacher / student / live one on one myself . It's going ok for me . I'll never be Earl Sgruggs but I'm sure having fun with it .
